ABOUT
Built by an IT executive tired of watching the same programme run the same way.
DG Systems was founded in 2016 by Brandon Dodds after 25 years leading enterprise IT programmes at IBM Global Services and Ernst & Young. Every engagement is led by Brandon personally, delivered by a specialist team assembled from a curated network of senior contractors for the shape of the work in front of you.
Why DG Systems exists.
Brandon spent 25 years delivering the exact kind of programmes DG Systems’ clients now consider engaging. Fourteen years at IBM Global Services across delivery, executive and shared services roles — including as Head of Global Process Services IT, where he built the IT Shared Services Group from concept to 150 staff and $20 million in operating budget. Two further years within IT Advisory at Ernst & Young. Along the way: multi-million-dollar programs delivered for IBM’s largest customers on time and on budget, and nominated to the IBM 100 Percent Club on four occasions — awarded to the top-performing individuals across the company.
That experience is also why DG Systems exists. After two decades inside the delivery of large programmes, Brandon saw the same patterns repeat — bloated project teams, junior consultants billed at senior rates, methodologies that didn’t survive contact with the client’s environment. He founded DG Systems in 2016 to run this work differently: a senior principal on every engagement, no consulting overhead, and a project team assembled from a curated network specifically for the work in front of the client.
Ten years in, that’s still how the business works. Our client list is built almost entirely on referral and repeat engagement.
How your project team gets built.
Every DG Systems engagement is led by Brandon personally.
The delivery team is assembled from a curated network of 40 to 50 senior IT contractors across Australia, the United States, Europe and India — covering cloud architecture (Azure and AWS), data engineering, ERP, security, senior software development, network and infrastructure engineering, business analysis, and project and programme management.
For each engagement, Brandon assembles the specific team the work requires. Australian resources where data sovereignty or in-person delivery matters. International specialists where the technical expertise sits offshore. Small teams. Senior throughout. No bench, no juniors, no rotation onto other clients mid-engagement.
Because the whole business runs on Brandon’s direct involvement, DG Systems takes on two or three concurrent programmes at most. You’ll never be the client whose engagement suffers because the founder is spread across ten others.
How we work.
Three steps. No surprises.
01 Assess
We map your current systems, dependencies and risks. You get a written assessment that’s honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and where the real risks live — not a sales document.
02 Plan
We build a sequenced roadmap with options, trade-offs, timing and cost. You make informed decisions; we provide the analysis behind them.
03 Deliver
We deliver the work with the team assembled for your engagement, with clear weekly progress against the plan. The business keeps running while the modernisation happens.
What we won’t do.
- We won’t put a graduate on your project and bill them as a senior. Every contractor is personally vetted, and Brandon leads every engagement.
- We won’t write a roadmap designed to sell the next phase of work. The roadmap is what we’d do if you didn’t hire us for it.
- We won’t recommend technology we haven’t run in production.
- We won’t take the business offline to make the migration easier.
- We won’t take on more concurrent work than we can deliver at pace. Two or three programmes at a time is the maximum.
